When the die-cutting machine is in operation, the die-cutting knife used must always use the roller shoulder scraping felt provided by the manufacturer. A proper amount of lubricating oil should be dripped upwards every day to keep the surface of the die-cutting knife's roller shoulder and the anvil roller clean and form a thin oil film between them, improving the wear resistance of the surfaces of the die-cutting knife's roller shoulder and the anvil roller.
During use, it is necessary to keep track of the wear condition of the die-cutting knife gears at all times and replace the gears in time when necessary. Because during processing, the manufacturer intentionally makes the hardness of the die-cutting knife gear slightly lower than that of the anvil roller gear, so that the wear occurs first on the gear of the die-cutting knife. This can avoid the frequent replacement of the relatively expensive and difficult-to-disassemble anvil roller gears. This situation is very similar to the relative hardness relationship between the plate cylinder gear and the impression cylinder gear, because it is easier to replace the plate cylinder gear.
When die-cutting, remember to apply pressure evenly. Sticking a layer of patching on the surface of the die-cutting knife can reduce the impact and also help to pop out small scraps of paper.
